Legal Description: Located on the 1/2 mile line - East side of section 28 - T 14 N - R 10 E
General Description:
The horizontal coordinates were established by GPS observations and adjusted by the Ne. Natural Resources Comm., from 1 ST order NGS station ( MILLAPORT ) located at the Millard Airport in Omaha, Ne. The elevation was established by GPS observations, from 2 ND order NGS station ( B 301 ) DESCRIPTION: NEBRASKA NATURAL RESOURCES COMMISSION JULY 1997 To reach the station from the junction of U.S. Highway # 6 and State Highway # 370 on the North edge of Gretna, Ne. go West along a county road for 0.75 mile to a T intersection. Turn right and go North along a county road for 0.5 mile to a crossroads. Turn left & go West along a county road for 2.0 miles to an East to North curve in the county road and the station. ( 240 St. & Lincoln Rd. ) The station is located on the Southwest side of the curve. / 23.5 Ft. East from the South gate post of a field drive leading West 10.5 Ft. South from the centerline of the driveway. / 30.5 Ft. South Southeast from a power pole. / 83.0 Ft. Southwest from a power pole. 84.5 Ft. West from a pole. / 11.5 Ft. West from the West end of a guard rail. The station is a 2 inch dia. aluminum NNRC cap set on top of a 1/2 inch by 5.0 Ft. steel rebar and driven to a depth of 2 inches below ground level and stamped ( 59-1 )
